The Minneapolis Vikings overcame a big game from Phoenix second baseman Jonathan Oliver to pick up a win at Legednary Park. The final score was 7-6, Minneapolis, in 10 innings. Oliver went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The last-place Vikings now sit at 59-89.

Minneapolis won the game in part because of Midori Morikawa. The second baseman ripped a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Vikings ahead, 5-4. For the game, Morikawa had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Vikings," said Morikawa.
