Minneapolis Vikings starter Travis Sasson was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Tucson Toros, 4-3. The winner in relief was Sok-man Chung. He is now 4-1. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The Vikings saw their win-loss record go to 78-70. At the same time, the Toros fell to 86-62.
Vince Minta aided the Minneapolis cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 3 with a walk.
After the game, Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
