The Chicago Phantoms defeated the Havana Metropolitanos, 5-4, in Western Conference action at Estadio Latinoamericano. Chicago pitcher Jarrod Beckman had a standout performance. The winner was Beckman. He threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Bobby Alkire. The save went to Franklin Lastre, number 4 for him.
