Las Vegas Aces starter Gary Banks had all his pitches working at Fox-Chong Park. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 Las Vegas win over the Vancouver Wolves. Las Vegas now sits at 71-76, while Vancouver falls to 67-80.

Juan Carrizales had a big 2-run home run for the Aces in the top of the sixth inning. With Las Vegas leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Hyun-koo Ka and punished it. The result was his 9th home run of the season, which put the Aces on top, 4-1.

"Gary mixed and matched," said Las Vegas manager Justin Coroian.
