The Boston Greens defeated the Montreal Harfangs, 7-4, in Eastern Conference action at Mount Royal Park. Boston pitcher Steve McFarlen had a standout performance. McFarlen picked up the win for Boston, going 6 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 9 hits. He now sports a record of 12-9. The last-place Harfangs have lost 4 consecutive games.

Boston used a well-timed hit by Riley Cooke to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Greens ahead, 6-4. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Cooke told the Boston Daily.
