Bizarro Excels in 6-5 Chicago Win
|
The Chicago Phantoms beat the San Francisco Friars, 6-5, at Foster Field. Chicago left fielder Ramão Bizarro led the way. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Manny Larios earned save number 11 this season. Chicago, at 97-49, is 13 games up in the Western Conference Nala Forcelledo Division.
Chicago grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Bizarro hit a 2-run double off Armando Mata. His 35th double of the season put the Phantoms out in front, 4-2.
"I still think this team can play even better," Bizarro told the Chicago Chronicle.
