The 11-5 Vancouver win over Las Vegas was due largely to John Woodward. The Wolves right fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs. Vancouver pitcher Victor Franco earned the win, hiking his record to 5-4. Angelo Gonzalez suffered the loss. Vancouver is last in the Western Conference Felipe Solorzo Division with a record of 67-79.

The Aces had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Wolves going into the bottom of the seventh inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old second baseman Matt Szymanski came to the plate. Szymanski hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 fastball from Las Vegas hurler Bullet McGraw. It was Szymanski's 13th double of the year.
