The Boston Greens got great pitching from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Tom Seymour, allowing them to bump off the Santiago Avispas, 3-0. The last-place Greens sport a record of 66-79.

Jonathan Farfan had a big 2-run double for the Greens in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Boston leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Elmo Fasanaro, who finished 5th in the WC in strikeouts with 203 in 2070, and swatted a double to right. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Greens ahead, 3-0.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Farfan.
