Portland Dragons starter Yahya Kanoro pitched his team past the San Diego Destroyers, 9-2. The loss makes San Diego 61-84.

Jairo Cedillo had a big 2-run double for the Dragons in the bottom of the second inning. With Portland leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a cutter from former first round draft pick Kiyohiro Murakami and swatted a double to left. It was his 33rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dragons ahead, 3-0.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Portland skipper Greg Carpenter.
