Timely Hitting Gets Las Vegas Late Win
Manichiro Kawasaki had an impact in the 4-2 Las Vegas win over Vancouver. The slick-fielding third baseman went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Mike Hill, now 5-4, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. At 70-75, the Aces find themselves in 4th place in the Western Conference Felipe Solorzo Division.

Kawasaki had a timely hit for Las Vegas in the top of the eighth. With Las Vegas trailing 2-1, he turned a first pitch changeup into a 3-run home run. It was his 27th home run of the season, making it 4-2, Las Vegas.

"Winning is always a team effort," Kawasaki said after the game.
