The St. Louis Gaedels picked up a win at Kroger Stadium, downing the Miami Cyclones, 6-4. On the mound for St. Louis was left-hander Andres Anguiano, who played a pivotal role in the win. St. Louis is second in the Eastern Conference Zounes Kamuzu Division with a record of 76-69.

Chris Fonville came through with a big-time hit for St. Louis. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Fonville said after the game.
