Brooklyn Browns starter Simone Banatoni was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Boston Greens, 5-0. Brooklyn is second in the Eastern Conference Antonio Detorres Division with a record of 78-65.

Nick Brauer had a big 2-run triple for the Browns in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Brooklyn leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Steve McFarlen, who finished 5th in the WC in innings pitched with 211.2 in 2073, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Browns ahead, 4-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Brooklyn manager Jason Cormier.
