Washington beat New York at The ESPN Zone, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman Scott Flynn. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win went to Yuuya Usui in relief. His record improves to 6-4. Shane Pursley took the loss. The Senators have a winning streak of 5 games.

Flynn delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the tenth to win it for Washington. In the contest, Flynn was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice.
