Metropolitanos Dealt 5-2 Loss

At Ballpark of Portland, the Havana Metropolitanos and Maine Lobster were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Maine Lobster starter Aaron Kopta was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Havana Metropolitanos, 5-2. Mike Pechtel got credit for the save for Maine. It was his 3rd of the year.
Roberto Fondin, who is tied for 10th in the EC in home runs with 26, chipped in a 3-run home run for Maine in the bottom of the first. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Fondin told the Maine Times. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
