Wiegand Stars in 9-4 Loss to Havana
The Havana Metropolitanos had to overcome a big game from Vancouver second baseman Matt Wiegand to leave Fox-Chong Park with a victory. And they did, winning 9-4. Wiegand hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Ji-hwan Kym collected save number 1. The misery continues for the Wolves, which has now dropped 10 in a row.

Havana grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Phil Wilde delivered a bases-clearing double, to make it 7-4 in favor of the Metropolitanos.

"Anytime we get it going, it puts a smile on my face," said Wilde.
