Dragons Prevail, 5-3, Over San Antonio
|
Mike Pitts was a major contributor to the 5-3 Portland win over San Antonio. The Dragons left fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Nate Daniels recorded the save, his 7th. The Portland win streak is now 3 games.
With Portland leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Pitts hit a fastball from Mike Hill for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Dragons ahead, 5-0.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Pitts told the Portland Today.
