The Los Angeles Stars earned a win at Stars Ballpark, stopping the Seattle Arrows, 7-2. Starting pitcher Antonio Avellaneda played a big role in his team's success. The Stars sit in first place in the Western Conference Brian Boots Division with a record of 86-55.

The fans who came to support the Stars were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Stars Ballpark.

"Antonio did a heck of a job," said Los Angeles manager Pat Kaers.
