|
Tucson parlayed a decent outing from starter Dunieski Vazquez into a solid win over the Minneapolis Vikings. The final score was 5-3. Ignacio Noriega wrapped it up, recording his 28th save. The Toros win now puts them at 65-76.
Tucson took a 4-3 lead on Eliecer Enriquez's 7th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Enriquez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Minneapolis pitcher Shunsen Maekawa visibly frustrated.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Vazquez.
