The Seattle Arrows wasted an impressive 6-inning effort from starter B.J. Terriquez, falling, 2-1, to the Alaska Kodiaks at Power Ballpark. The winner in relief was Javy Granillo. He is now 3-2. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Juneau Beauchamp converted his 7th save in 12 tries.

Tillmam Velado came through with a big-time hit for Alaska. The left fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Velado.

With the win, Alaska upped its record to 75-67.
