Late Rally by Lobster Secures 5-3 Win
|
Portland (E) Lobster starter Antonio Melgar pitched a strong game against the Toronto Juggernauts at Molson Park, leading the Lobster to victory, 5-3. The loss drops the Juggernauts to 0-5.
Dave Yerges came through with a big-time hit for Portland (E). The right fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
Melgar called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
