Chugh Squelches Vancouver Offense
|
San Francisco Friars starter Shaun Chugh kept the Vancouver Wolves hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-0 win. Cheh Ye collected save number 5. At 70-69, the Friars claim third place in the Western Conference Nala Forcelledo Division.
Chugh, who dominated for San Francisco, earned the victory to move to 8-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 9. Vancouver batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Shaun commanded the zone from bottom to top," said San Francisco manager Jeremy Cooan.
