Santiago Gets 4-2 Road Win
|
The Santiago Avispas converted a terrific effort from starter Beau Eschmann into a win over the Washington Senators at The ESPN Zone. The Avispas won the game by a final score of 4-2. The winner was Eschmann. He threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Yuuya Usui. Santiago leads the Eastern Conference Paul Pagac Division by 5 games.
Angel Ramirez had a direct impact on the outcome. Ramirez contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Santiago up, 4-2.
