Denver got a first-rate effort from pitcher James L'Hommedieu, who frustrated Phoenix hitters en route to a 2-0 Glaciers triumph at Legednary Park. Their 67-72 record puts the Glaciers third in the Western Conference Eric Wise Division.

Denver used the timely hitting of Matt Reyes to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Glaciers on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"James executed his pitches at a high level," said Denver manager Todd Bleess.
