Maine right fielder Josh Fish helped his team beat the Havana Metropolitanos, 8-6. Fish went 1 for 4 for the Lobster. Picking up the win was Jim Lawrence. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits. The left--hander struck out 3 and walked 1. Getting the save was Masato Nishihara, his 35th.

With Maine leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Fish hit a cutter from Joyee Cameron for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Lobster ahead, 6-0.

"Josh is still learning," said Lobster manager Matthew McExpos. "The sky's the limit for him."

The Lobster sit in third place in the Eastern Conference Benito Cossutta Division with a record of 62-75.
