The Toronto Juggernauts got a magnificent effort from pitcher Santiago Ontiveros, who kept Buffalo hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Juggernauts win at Bison Stadium. Ignacio Noriega recorded the save, his 18th. The last-place Juggernauts are now 60-77, the Rangers 75-62.

Toronto used a clutch at-bat from Matt Salmon to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Juggernauts ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We put together a nice win," Salmon said.
