Minneapolis Grounds was the site of a tense game between the Minneapolis Vikings and Tucson Toros.

The Tucson Toros faced a tough opponent in Minneapolis pitcher Ti-an Fang, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Minneapolis Grounds by a final score of 3-2. Fang went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Ignacio Noriega collected his 27th save.

Nagateru Imada had a direct impact on the outcome. Imada contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Tucson up, 3-2.

Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
