With Late Score, Vikings Beat Toros

The Minneapolis Vikings cut down the Tucson Toros by the score of 7-6, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Tohru Asano. Asano went 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Vikings. Minneapolis reliever Jose Miera picked up the win to move to 1-3. O-min Che suffered the loss. Their 54-82 record puts the Vikings last in the Western Conference Brian Boots Division.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Asano hit a sinker from O-min Che for a run-scoring single. The Vikings, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
