The Houston Aquas wiggled past the Chicago Phantoms, 4-3, in 10 innings at Tesoro Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Houston pitcher Slider Brooks. Houston goes to 86-51. The win puts them 13 games up in their division.

The Aquas got a clutch hit from second baseman Al Anzaldua. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Aquas.
