Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Alaska Kodiaks and Seattle Arrows.

The Alaska Kodiaks picked up a win at Tundradome, dropping the Seattle Arrows, 3-1. Savino Dore, who is tied for 9th in the WC in wins with 12, was the difference-maker. The winner was Dore. He threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was B.J. Terriquez.

William Sanjines helped out the Alaska cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Alaska manager Alex King.

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Kodiaks.
