Simon Helps Juggernauts Win, 10-5, with Pair of Homers
The 4-RBI night of shortstop Eddie Simon, who finished 5th in the EC in hits with 177 in 2075, helped the Toronto Juggernauts triumph, 10-5, over the San Francisco Friars. Fisko Loera earned the win for Toronto. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 1. With the win, he raised his record to 12-7. Roberto Ruiz, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities.

Caleb Graham had a big 2-run double for the Juggernauts in the bottom of the second inning. With Toronto leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Armando Mata and swatted a double to right. It was his 47th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Juggernauts ahead, 4-1.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Simon.

The win for the Juggernauts raised their record to 68-68.
