The Las Vegas Aces and San Antonio Angels played an exciting game.
Aaron Hendsbee, who finished 4th in the WC in wins with 15 in 2077, was locked in. The right-hander led the Las Vegas Aces to a 4-2 win against the San Antonio Angels at Western Coliseum. Hendsbee picked up the win for Las Vegas, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 5-2.
Lanny Tabares went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI for Las Vegas. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Ruben Trigueros. It was his 118th hit of the season.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Las Vegas manager Justin Coroian.
