Philadelphia right fielder Ron Gideon had a 5-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Maine Lobster, 11-10. Philadelphia reliever Divino Aljeroz got the win, raising his record to 5-3. Masato Nishihara was tagged with the loss. Philadelphia now sits at 59-76, while Maine falls to 60-74.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Philadelphia trailing 10-9, Gideon hit a fastball from Masato Nishihara for a 2-run single. In the blink of an eye, the Spectres had a walk-off win.

Gideon described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
