Vancouver pitcher Chris Chavarria had a large part in his team subduing the Toronto Juggernauts, 6-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. This win makes it 5 in a row for Vancouver.

Tony Bosques had a big 2-run home run for the Wolves in the top of the fourth inning. With Vancouver leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Santiago Ontiveros, who led the EC in wins with 21 in 2077, and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Wolves on top, 3-0.

"The vibe's good," said Vancouver manager Zach Meinen. "We've got to keep it going."
