St. Louis picked up a win at AT&T Park, bumping off the Baltimore Kings, 6-4. Pitcher Aaron Kopta was a major reason the Gaedels emerged victorious. Patrick Mumcu closed it out for St. Louis, earning his 7th save. The Gaedels now have a mark of 66-68.

St. Louis used a clutch at-bat from Jason Beane to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Gaedels ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

After the game, Kopta refused to speak to a reporter for the St. Louis Chronicle. "You've accused me of throwing teammates under the bus," he said. "So, excuse me if I decline to answer your questions."
