The Philadelphia Spectres defeated the Maine Lobster, 5-4, in 10 innings in Eastern Conference action at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Philadelphia pitcher Tommy Pepper had a standout performance. The win belonged to Miguel Romero in relief. His record improves to 3-7. Mike Pechtel took the loss for Maine. The Spectres win now puts them at 58-76.

The Spectres got a clutch hit from first baseman Danny Ornelas. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Spectres.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Maine manager Matthew McExpos.
