Baseball fans saw a good contest between the San Francisco Friars and Las Vegas Aces.

The San Francisco Friars picked up a win at Western Coliseum, knocking off the Las Vegas Aces, 4-3. Starting pitcher John Hersey was a big reason why. Manny Arango earned the save for San Francisco, his 20th of the year.

Ruven Luevano, who is a six-time All-Star, helped out the San Francisco cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the third baseman was 2-4 with a double and a walk.

Luevano called the win "a collective effort."
