Win Goes to Lobster in Tight Contest
The Maine Lobster knocked off the Philadelphia Spectres, 5-3, in Eastern Conference action at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Maine pitcher and Wilkie, Canada, native Jim Lawrence had an outstanding performance. The Spectres, at 57-76, have lost 4 in a row.

Maine used the hitting of Justin Zehr to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lobster on top, 4-3. For the game, Zehr had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Lawrence said.
