2079 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Portland (E) Lobster.
The Portland (E) Lobster had their hands full with Havana Metropolitanos starter Jeans Rabasa, who frustrated Portland (E) hitters while leading Havana to a comfortable, 6-1 win. Rabasa, now 11-3, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing no runs.
The Metropolitanos got a big at-bat from third baseman Homer Hanes. For the game, Hanes went 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3.
