The inspired effort of Miami center fielder Adam Adamski was not enough to prevent a loss, 8-7, to the Maine Lobster. Adamski was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Masato Nishihara earned the save, his 32nd, for the Lobster. The Lobster win now puts them at 59-72.

Maine used the timely hitting of Jason Diaz to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lobster on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"When you win, you always have confidence," said Maine skipper Matthew McExpos. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
