Buenrostro Dominant in Portland (E) Win
|
Soggy conditions did not keep Portland (E) and Santiago from playing their scheduled game.
Portland (E) pitcher Marco Buenrostro did his part in helping his team beat the Santiago Avispas, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Kevin D'Addio picked up the save for Portland (E), his 7th of the year.
Buenrostro kept the Avispas under his thumb. He scattered 3 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 11. The right-hander upped his season record to 9-4.
"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Buenrostro.
The win has Portland (E) at 51-80.
