Kings Get One-Run Win at Phoenix
The Baltimore Kings claimed a close win over the Phoenix Thunderbirds, due in large part to Adrian Portuondo. The Baltimore left-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. Ocean Mendoza closed out the game, earning his 28th save. Phoenix has now lost 5 straight.

Reinier Martinez, who is a four-time Gold Glove Award winner, had a direct impact on the outcome. Martinez contributed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put Baltimore up, 2-0.
