Behind the hitting of Per Fronteira, the Vancouver Wolves stopped the Los Angeles Stars, 5-4. Fronteira was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2 for the Wolves. Reliever Shigemitsu Nakayama picked up the win. His record improves to 2-2. Dustin Kerley took the loss. The Wolves now have a record of 13-26.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With no one out, Fronteira hit a fastball from Dustin Kerley for a solo home run. The Wolves, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
