The Denver Glaciers soundly defeated the Boston Greens, 12-3, at Mountain Dew Park, with catcher Taiji Taira a major reason why. He went 2-4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Denver. Taxi Sabala, the winner, improved to 7-0. He held Boston to 3 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. The victory gives the Glaciers a record of 25-13.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Glaciers grabbed the lead when Taira hit his 9th double of the season. The 2-run double off Dryden Ice made it 4-3, Denver.
