The Houston Aquas had no problem beating the Denver Glaciers, 11-0, at Tesoro Stadium. Tadasu Tamba led the way. He was 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 6 for Houston. The win elevated the Aquas to 81-48.

With Houston leading 4-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Tamba came up to bat against Denver pitcher Shane Shackelford. Tamba hit a fastball to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Aquas on top, 8-0.

"We took it on the chin tonight," said losing manager Todd Bleess.
