Santiago Avispas pitcher Beau Eschmann whisked his team past the Maine Lobster, 6-2. With the win, the Avispas improved to 74-54.

Santiago designated hitter Yem Batista contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a changeup to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 33rd hit of the season and put the Avispas ahead, 2-0.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Batista.
