Tamulevich Now 15-6 After Beating Athletics
|
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the New York Titans and Kansas City Athletics.
In a tightly-contested game between the New York Titans and the Kansas City Athletics, pitcher Nick Tamulevich was outstanding. The New York left-hander, who finished 2nd in the EC in strikeouts with 238 in 2076, propelled his team's 2-1 win. With the win, the Titans have a record of 91-37.
Tamulevich earned the win, going 8 strong innings for New York. The native of Toronto, Canada, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 9. Kansas City hitters did next to nothing against the left-hander.
"I had a good game plan," said Tamulevich. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Nate Beckman said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
