Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Houston Aquas and Vancouver Wolves.

The Houston Aquas topped the Vancouver Wolves, 4-0, in Western Conference action at Tesoro Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Houston pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native Antonio Equihua. The win gives Houston a record of 3-2.

Al Anzaldua had a big run-scoring double for the Aquas in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Houston leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Kevin Street, who finished 2nd in the EC in innings pitched with 223.0 in 2078, and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aquas ahead, 2-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Anzaldua told the Houston Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
