The Vancouver Wolves got a stellar effort from pitcher Andretti Lipka, helping Vancouver score a win over the visiting Denver Glaciers, 6-0. The Wolves now have a record of 63-64.

Er Hsiao had a big grand slam home run for the Wolves in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Vancouver leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a changeup from James L'Hommedieu, who is tied for 10th in the WC with a 1.08 WHIP, and punished it. The result was his 18th home run of the season, which put the Wolves on top, 6-0.

"I like winning," Hsiao told the Vancouver Bulletin. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
