Wolves Turn Away Vikings, 4-3
The timely hitting of Koson Kitano helped the Vancouver Wolves down the Minneapolis Vikings, 4-3. Kitano went 2-3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Wolves. The win was credited to 31-year old right-handed pitcher Javier Piloto in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Johnny Veenstra took the loss. With the win, the Wolves are 13-26.

Kitano contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Vancouver get the win.

"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," Kitano told a local reporter after the game.
