Angels Blown Out by Stars
The Los Angeles Stars defeated the San Antonio Angels, 13-1, in part because of first baseman Manny Sagastisado. Sagastisado went 1-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Stars. Cesar Lobatos got the win, improving to 3-1. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. The win hiked the Los Angeles record to 19-19.

Los Angeles used the clutch hitting of Eloy Laca to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Stars the lead, 2-0. For the game, Laca had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said San Antonio manager Brandon Coroian.
