Portland starter Yandri Vido kept the Houston offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his fastball in leading the Dragons to a 2-1 win. Ryan Mena, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2078 draft, nailed down the save. Portland is now 66-58.

Felix Sanchez went 2-2 with a double for Portland. The 24-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Antonio Equihua. It was his 60th RBI of the season.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Sanchez, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
