Dragons Show Moxy in 2-1 Win
In a low-scoring tilt between the Portland Dragons and the Chicago Phantoms, 22-year old left-handed pitcher Ryan Mena was the difference-maker. The Portland left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win in 11 innings. Portland reliever Jonas Juarbe picked up the win to move to 5-13. Teh-huai Yap suffered the loss. Portland, at 59-65, sits in 4th place in the Western Conference Eric Wise Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Alex Guilzar in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off two-time All-Star Teh-huai Yap to win the game for Portland. The home crowd went nuts.

"I have a really good team behind me," Mena said. "I trust them 100 percent."
