At Stars Ballpark, the Brooklyn Browns and Los Angeles Stars were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Los Angeles Stars picked up a win at Stars Ballpark, downing the Brooklyn Browns, 8-5. On the mound for Los Angeles was right-hander Cursive DeMarco, who played a pivotal role in the win. DeMarco, now 1-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run.

Los Angeles got a big at-bat from Camargo, Mexico native Willis Aguilar, who in the bottom of the second hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Stars ahead, 7-0.

"I went out and just tried to do my job," said DeMarco.
