Paszek Stars in 6-5 Loss to Alaska
Despite a great performance by Las Vegas third baseman Ian Paszek, the Alaska Kodiaks defeated the Aces by the score of 6-5 at Tundradome. Paszek was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Reliever Filiberto Ciriaco picked up the win. His record improves to 5-4. Arturo Covarrubias took the loss. Vicente Fuentes finished the game for Alaska and earned his 2nd save.

Ryan McCray, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2074 draft, took Las Vegas hurler Arturo Covarrubias deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Kodiaks on top, 6-5. In all, McCray had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

McCray told a Alaska Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

Alaska has a record of 70-54, placing them second in the Western Conference Eric Wise Division.
